The first airline in Iran and the entire globe, FlySepehran, used artificial intelligence to develop and produce its magazine.
We employed artificial intelligence to write and design the first bilingual (Persian and English) magazine. We have covered a wide range of themes in this magazine and compared actual photos with those made by artificial intelligence. The outcome was intriguing; human and artificial intelligence co-worked to create an interesting magazine for our passengers.

It is published in both Persian and English; so that our passengers can read content created by AI while in flight. This magazine also contains images created by artificial intelligence. There are images of every subject that shows that subject in the next thousand years.

We intended to provide our passengers with something unique when we decided to write magazine number 24. Due to this, we used artificial intelligence to design, write, and create every page of this magazine. This does not mean that we are entirely done with AI. In truth, this effort required careful thought and collaboration with a team of editors and Graphic Designers who analyzed many forms of AI to decide which one would be more suitable.
It took us three months to select and utilize the artificial intelligence that would produce the finest outcomes. Because we had to select the option that was consistent with what we wanted to do. However, since there was a lack of artificial intelligence knowledge regarding Iran’s Attractions, we had to spend time writing instructions, requesting procedures, and learning how to work with AI in order to get the intended outcome. For instance, to write articles, it was occasionally essential to give more specific information about the location, as well as to describe the writing style and tone.
Also, the process of using artificial intelligence to create photos was equally challenging; creating the right prompt that would lead us to the desired result required a skill that was acquired step by step while working.
AI Article Writer / AI Image Generator
Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Copy.ai, and Bard, were used to select topics, write content, and choose titles in both Farsi and English. We also used Midjourney, Image Upscaler, Adobe Firefly, DALLE 2, and RunwayML to produce images from 1000 years in the future.
Selecting the current image for each topic was made as part of the planning for this issue of FlySepehran’s magazine. Therefore, we could finally make an intriguing comparison between the current image of each location or topic to the photos for the next 1000 years. Of course, this was not the entire story.
Releasing the first AI magazine
From planning through implementation and release, the first magazine created using artificial intelligence technology took three months. Published on September 11, 2023, and distributed on FlySepehran flights, this magazine addresses issues in the aviation and tourism industries and, for the first time in Iran and the world, presents passengers above the clouds and in the sky with an AI-generated magazine.

In this magazine, we have discussed the topics of artificial intelligence in the field of aviation and tourism to enhance the world view of our passengers as responsible travelers and to provide them with fun moments during their flights; From introducing the online services in our flights to exploring the wonders of the world, from introducing the most attractive amusement parks to unveiling the world’s bests, from exploring Mazandaran’s places of interest to introducing the local foods in this evergreen province located in northern Iran. All these topics are accompanied by interesting photos related to the next 1000 years.

What we wrote and designed in this FlySepehran’ magazine was all with the help of artificial intelligence, so we added a little and edited it to make it more readable and entertaining for our passengers. This magazine is the result of several months of effort by a team of 10 experts; due to the fact that our passengers deserve the finest.
